DEC and IDE Files
 
DEC files and IDE files contain information of 
a deconvoluted image. When a DEC file, such 
as that on the right, is openned by VEC in 
graphic mode, the deconvoluted image will be 
displayed as a real-space image as below..

On the other hand, without changing the contents of the file on the right, just by renaming it as 'Phthalocynine.ide', VEC will display it in reciprocal space as the following.

The real-space and reciprocal-space images are
actually the Fourier transform of each other.
